Today I am showing, how one can send money from their Bank Account through a GSM hand set without internet connection. There are many people in our country have no internet connection but interested to transfer fund through their hand set. Who are reading this article please teach them how they can send money offline by dialing *99# USSD or Unstructured Supplementary Service Data. National Payments Corporation of India brings this service together with Banks and Telecom Service Providers.
Send money offline: Who can use *99# USSD for sending money offline?
Anyone can use this service; have a saving account with register mobile number and debit card. You should register your mobile with bank account to get this service. This service is only available on GSM handset not on CDMA handsets.

Fund can be transfer any time instantly even on holiday.
Send money offline: Register your mobile number
To get this service register your mobile number with UPI. If you have already registered your Mobile number with any UPI likes BHIM or SBI PAY, skip these steps.
Step1. Dial *99# from your mobile.
Step2. Select your language.
Step3. Enter you bank’s name or first four letters of IFSC(you will find it on your check book or bank pass book) or three short name of your bank (example-SBI, AXI, UBI, IDB and etc.) or bank digit numeric code ( I don’t know what is this).
Step4. Select any service. (Example: Send Money)
Step5. Enter last six digits of your debit card number and expiry date after giving space.
(Example: 253987 0319)
Step6. Generate six digits UPI pin. Remember it for next transaction.
Now you have successfully registered you mobile number with bank UPI and generated UPI PIN. Now it’s time to transfer fund.
Send money offline: Step by Step procedure for sending money offline.
Step1. Dial *99#
Step2. Select Send Money.
Step3. You can send money offline though beneficiary mobile number, aadhaar number, UPI payment address, bank account number and MMID (MMID stands for Mobile Money Identifier. MMID is a 7 digit code issued by the bank to their customers for availing IMPS). Select any one of them. Suppose I select mobile number.
Step4. Enter Mobile number. (Beneficiary mobile number should be registered)
Step5. After entering mobile number you will see beneficiary name. Now enter the amount to be send.
Step6. Enter 6 digit UPI pin.
You will see a massage on your mobile screen for successful payment and RefId. There are other many options available.
